Our Oxford Street apartment is located on the third floor of a traditional tenement building, accessed by a communal stair, with a shared garden to the rear, offering the visitor the chance to experience tenement community living as it has been going on in Edinburgh for over 100 years. It is conveniently situated in Newington, a vibrant district of Edinburgh nestling at the foot of Arthur's Seat, one of the most prominent and historical landmarks of Edinburgh. with many interesting and some quirky  local shops and amenities only a short stroll from the apartment, which are well worth a browse.

This bright and spacious apartment has rooftop views of Arthur’s Seat. Although it retains many fine period features, such as ornate cornices, a fine example of an original fireplace, cupola windows in the bathroom and hallway, and working shutters to all windows, it has been fully modernised with double glazing and gas central heating to provide comfortable living accommodation for up to 6 adults and two children. It offers one family bedroom, one double bedroom,  one twin (bunk) bedroom, open plan living room / kitchen, bathroom with shower over bath and separate WC.

The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and hob and fridge freezer.  Duvets, pillows, sheets, blankets and towels are provided and changed on a weekly basis. Cots and high chairs are provided on request.

To ensure an enjoyable and relaxing stay, the apartment is fully equipped with favourite home comforts such as digital television and DVD/CD player.

 Pre-paid mobile phone, additional linen change and cleaning, restaurant, theatre and event bookings, grocery deliveries and airport /station pick ups, can also be arranged on request at extra cost.
